Course Objectives
Upon the successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:-

  • Understand the various elements of process plant performance in order to improve the efficiency

  • Know the characterization of catalyst and the ideal reactor and identify their performance.

  • Become familiar with the various thermal and mechanical separation processes and be able to determine the performance of crystallization, adsorption, chemisorption, and ion exchange

  • Improve the performance of pipelines, pumps, and compressors

  • Improve the efficiency of off-site utilities such as the electrical energy, cooling water, steam, and refrigeration

  • Recognize the importance of proper waste disposal and its impact on plant performance and efficiency

  • Become acquainted with the modern methods in measurements and control technology and their major role in plant performance and efficiency.

  • Enhance knowledge on collecting various process data such as chemical data, mass balance, physicochemical data, and processing variables as inputs for process optimization procedure

  • Identify the various optimization tools used in process plant performance and be able to determine the refinery & process plant optimization trends

  • Appreciate the continuous improvement, benchmarking and best practices for process plant performance & efficiency

  • Improve troubleshooting procedures and know the different performance analysis software used in process plant performance in relation to process optimization and performance monitoring

Course Certificate
Haward Technology certificate will be issued to all attendees completing minimum of 75% of the total tuition hours of the course.

Course Accreditation

IACET is an international authority that evaluates programs according to strict, research-based criteria and guidelines. Haward Technology has been approved as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1760 Old Meadow Road, Suite 500, McLean, VA 22102, USA. In obtaining this approval, Haward Technology has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard which are widely recognized as standards of good practice internationally. As a result of our Authorized Provider membership status, Haward Technology is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET 1-2007 Standard.

Haward Technology Middle East will award 3.0 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for participants who completed the total tuition hours of this program. One CEU is equivalent to ten Professional Development Hours (PDHs) or ten contact hours of the participation in and completion of Haward Technology programs. A permanent record of a participant’s involvement and awarding of CEU will be maintained by Haward Technology. Haward Technology will provide a copy of the participant’s CEU Transcript of Records upon request.

Course Fee
US $ 3,750 per Delegate. This rate includes Participant’s Pack (Folder, Manual, Hand-outs, etc.), buffet lunch, coffee/tea on arrival, morning & afternoon of each day.

Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the course fees. However, any accommodation required can be arranged by Haward Technology at the time of booking.
