Mr. Martin T. Anderson (USA) MSc, BSc, PE the ex Vice Chairman of ASNT with over 20 years of extensive experience in the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industry. Martin is a Senior Corrosion Engineer whose expertise widely extends over the Inspection, Fabrication, Maintenance, Rating, Repair, Alteration & Reconstruction of Piping Systems , Pressure Vessel and Tanks ; integrity management/corrosion inspection ; inspections involving UT, AUT, MT, PT, RT, CRT, RTR, TRT, VT in accordance with API, ASME, BP, ADEC, DOT and other regulatory agencies. He gained his expertise & thorough practical experience through several challenging positions as an NDE Supervisor, Operations Manager, QC Manager, Quality Assurance & Control Inspector for a number of international companies that he has worked closely with such as British Petroleum, ARCO, Udelhoven, Morrison & Knudson, Alaska Petroleum, Veco, Bechtel & Boeing. Mr. Anderson is an API 570 Certified Piping Inspector, an AWS Certified Welding Inspector, API 653 Certified Tank Inspector, API 510 Certified Pressure Vessel Inspector, a NACE Certified Senior Corrosion Technologies & Coating Inspection Technician, and an ASNT Certified Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Personnel .

Currently, Martin takes spearheads the integrity management and corrosion inspection for one of BP's oilfield, and is at the same time a Trainer for inspections involving API 510, 653 & 570, UT, AUT, MT, PT, RT, CRT, RTR, TRT, VT, in accordance with BP, ADEC, DOT, API, ASME and other regulatory agencies. He had also been responsible for the testing and training of technicians, document control, procedure development and audits, and further maintained radiation safety program in compliance with NRC standards. Martin has built up a formidable reputation with his professionalism and practical problem solving abilities , and has performed significant consultancy projects in these areas.

Mr. Anderson has a Masters & Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering. Further, he underwent stringent trainings and courses on Pipe Welding, Welding, Cathodic & Coating Inspection, Radiography & Radiation Safety . Martin actively maintains his affiliations with professional organizations such as the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), , the American Welding Society (AWS), the Project Management Institute (PMI), the American Society of Quality (ASQ), and the Steel Structures Painting Council (SSPC).
