Professor Robert Krause (USA) MSc, BSc, EMT - P, is an International Expert and Consultant in Emergency Medical Services, Firefighting  and Security Operations with over 25 years of practical experience. Presently, he is the Director of Emergency Services Consultants, where he leads and heads in providing expert consultations to law firms as well as researches, trainings & education to corporations, fire departments , EMS organizations , police agencies, municipal government and industry. Prof. Krause is also a Professor with the Emergency Medical Services Program where he handles emergency medical technician classes that include patient assessment, medical and cardiac emergencies , trauma and pediatric care, pediatric airway stabilization, ambulance operations, geriatric care, communications and the roles and responsibilities for emergency medical technicians, including the proper techniques to be used by emergency medical technicians and adherence to the accepted standards of care for emergency medical personnel in the pre-hospital setting. On top of this, Prof. Bob is an active firefighter, paramedicfire officer, emergency medical and fire fighting instructorresearcher and published author

 
 


Althroughout his career, Prof. Krause has held a variety of command positions within the fire service including fire suppression , fire training officer, Fire/EMS communications supervisor, and  emergency medical services educator. Even until today, Prof. Krause continues to teach, write and consult in various fire and emergency medical related topics. Among his publications are Fire AttackPearls of Wisdom: Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, Paramedic & Pediatric Advanced Life Support ; High Rise Firefighting, A Refresher; the Minimum Fire Flows for Attack Lines, and the Conflict in the Firehouse; Strategies for Leadership.

Professor Krause has a Master's Degree in Security Management Homeland Security and Occupational Health and Bachelor's Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering and Fire Science. He is a Licensed practitioner of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), IS-100 Incident Command , IS-200 Incident Command for Federal Disaster Workers, IS-700 National Incident Management System, Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Prof. Bob is also a Certified Paramedic, Firefighter & Fire Officer , Fire Safety Inspector , and an Emergency Medical Services Instructor . He is a well-respected member of the National Flight Paramedics Association , the Association of Public Safety Communication (APCO), the National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE), the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF), the International Society of Fire Service Instructors, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the National Academy of Emergency Medical Dispatch ( NAEMD ).
