He has had great involvement and specializes in all facets of Production Operations including troubleshooting, Productivity, Start-up, Shutdown, Turn-around, feasibility studies, techno-economic analysis, strategic analysis & technological risk evaluation, research & development, project planning, management, implementation and start-ups of process systems.

Dr. McIver is currently the Managing Director of a prestigious company actively involved in the chrome chemicals, where he is responsible for all aspects of the development including project evaluation, research, board proposals, project implementation and start-ups.

Previously, he had occupied several significant positions with different international companies, like being the General Manager, the Operations Manager, Production Manager, Plant Manager, Field Manager, and Process Engineer where he dealth with a wide variety of industries and process development and troubleshooting.

Dr. McIver has PhD, MSc and BSc degrees in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania (USA), and a Diploma on Executive Development Programme.
