Alexander Borg MCIPS, MIM, MILT is a Senior Consultant and an Expert in Logistics, Supply Chain & Operations Management with over 20 years of field experience. He is presently the Consultant on Logistics & Supply Chain Management for a large international consulting group. Herein, he provides a wide range of consultancy services extending from commercial, business strategy to operations and quality management, logistics and supply chain management, engineering, health and safety, information technology and management training. Along with this, he has actively held tie-ups with international corporations such as Logistics Management Solutions ( LMS ) a widely-known solutions provider involved in different projects related to Warehouse and Logistics Software Management, as one of their Director; with Woodward Group (UK) as their Euro-Mediterranean Region Partner; with People Development Group as their correspondent for Malta & the Middle East; with GS1 as their DEC-Board Director; with the E-Business Foundation as its Board Director; and with Alliott Group as an Associate Consultant. Despite his already tight schedule, Mr. Borg is still able to maintain his zest for sharing his skills and knowledge through links with the University of Central England Brirmingham, UK where he coordinates for the Masteral programmes and with the CILT International.

Much earlier in his career, Borg had occuppied equally challenging roles in the industry such as being a Stock Control & Distribution Manager, Operations Manager, Purchasing & Inventory Manager, Chief Stores & Associate Purchasing Officer and a Stores Officer.

Mr. Borg has a B achelors Degree in Business Management, and has gained Diplomas on Supply Management, Stores Management & Inventory Control, and Logistics & Transport Management. He had also received certificates in First-Line Management, Cost Control Management, Logistics Management & Supply Chain Management.
