Mr. Anthony Egan ( USA ) B. Eng. is a Senior Inspection Expert with over 20 years of industrial experience in API 510, API 653, API 570, AWS inspections, pressure vessel inspection, fabrication, pipeline installation / maintenance, in-service refinery equipment, above ground storage tanks, pipeline inspection, petrochem piping, offshore fabrication and structural fabrication, QA/QC, management & supervision of in-service & T/A inspection, inspection planning, refinery reliability tasks, risk-based inspection projects and development of process unit reliability manuals.
 
 


He is currently the Senior Inspection ( QA/QC ) Manager of Worldwide Welding Company in the USA .

During his career life, Mr. Egan worked as the QC Manager for Worldwide Welding Company wherein he managed QA/QC activities on multiple unit maintenance shut downs, fabrication & installation of piping and completion of multiple pressure vessel code repairs . He was also a Senior Consultant/Instructor for Tratamiento Técnico Industrial CA ( TTICA ) in South America where he was responsible for training employees in NDT techniques, QC documentation and application . Mr. Egan worked as Senior Equipment Inspection Manager, Inspection Manager, QA/QC Manager, Refinery Equipment Manager, Senior Equipment Supervisor/Inspector and QA/QC Supervisor/Inspector to various multi-national companies namely Edge Testing & Inspection Inc., Pacific Technical Services Inc., CONAM Inspection Inc., IESCO, Chevron, Paramount Petroleum, NDT Services, JMSE Structural Engineers and FAYCO .

Mr. Egan has a Bachelors degree in Welding Engineering and he is a certified API 510 ( Pressure Vessels ), API 653 ( Storage Tanks ), API 570 ( Piping ), ASNT Level II, AWS Welding Inspector and API Ultrasonic Testing Examiner . He is an active member of the British Institute of NDT, Project Management Institute and the American Society of Quality Control . Further, he gained certification from TECHRAD, SCE, IGSCC and CRTC as a qualified inspector of automated ultrasonics, hydrogen damage and ultrasonic critical crack sizing .
