He is currently the Senior Professor of Chemical Engineering at one of the most prestigious universities in the Middle East .

During his career life, Dr. Mansour worked as the Head of the Design Center of Al-Basil Company under the Military Industry Commission wherein he managed the pilot plant design for the corrosion inhibitors materials, production of ammonium chloride and multi-purpose unit for various lubricating materials . With these accomplishments, he was awarded for his Outstanding Performance and Services as endowed by the General Director of Al- Basil Company . He was also the Head of Training & Studies Department wherein he and his team conducted feasibility studies of the production of catalyst, chlorinated rubber, sodium silicate and the production of silicate and water treatment chemical in the Middle East . Prior to this, he was the Head of the Design Administration where he was responsible for the basic design of the pilot plant for the production of aviation oils and chlorinated rubber . Dr. Mansour started out as a Researcher for Al-Basil where he conducted studies on the scale up and operation of hydrogenation ( benzene to cyclohexane ), production of acetate tow (used as a filter in cigarette industry), Octane No. and distillate percentage increasing the output of petroleum products and propionic aid preparation . He was also responsible for the preparation of Furfural Alcohol using Fixed Bed Technique, passivation of Stainless Steel Surfaces and purification of spent Sulfuric Acid .

Dr. Mansour's experience was not only confined to the industry alone. He was also able to largely contribute his skills and expertise in the academe . He was a Senior Professor of Chemical Engineering to various universities including the Military College of Engineering and the University of Technology . He was endowed with numerous commendations for his outstanding performance and services as a scientist and educator from the Military Industry Commission and Ministry of Higher Education .
