Mr. Emad Saad (Egypt) MSc., BSc., is a Senior Polyethylene & PVC Production and Process Engineer with over 20 years of extensive experience in the field of Process, Production and Operation of petrochemical plants specifically on PE, PP, Butene-1 and PVC .
 
 


He is currently the Polyethylene Sector Manager of SIDI KERIR Petrochemical Company (SIDPEC). Aside from contributing a major role in the plant's establishment, he is directly supervising the product yield optimization through routine patrol of plant monitoring, performance of equipment and spot checks of set shift tasks among other responsibilities.

Mr. Saad started his successful career as a Process Engineer for Egyptian Petrochemical Company where he was involved in troubleshooting abnormalities affecting operation of the polyethylene plant , performed adjustments to maintain optimum conditions of the polyethylene plant , supervise the polyethylene plant shutdowns/start-ups , ensure the implementation of safety regulations and personal health standards along with other related tasks such as flow rates , catalyst usage and maintenance problems . Furthermore, he was supervising the PVC plant suspension technology , automatic & computerized control duties , plant optimization condition , monitoring plant parameters , simulator application for the process plant and plant change request as well as modification follow-up.

Mr. Saad is an active member in the Contract Negotiations Team with British Petroleum, dealing mainly with the Polyethylene Project technical evaluation.

Mr. Saad has Masters and Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering courses from Alexandria University.
