During his long career life, Mr. Sandmann worked as Electrical Site Manager, Project Manager and Electrical Engineer for different companies and governments in Europe, Asia, Africa, North & South America . He led the electrification of various towns and rural areas in several developing countries . He managed the planning, design and installation of power and electricity in these locations. He was able to work in companies such as Kreditanstalt fur Wiederaufbau ( KfW ), Metro Santiago de Chile, BADER Sucursal Uruguay, West Zone Power Systems Development, BADER Asia, Provincial Electricity Authorit, Oil Company Ltd., Electricity Authority, Electro Peru, Ingenieurburo, Oscar Von Miller GMBH and Siemens AG in Germany. He handled and managed numerous power supply projects and improved existing electrical power systems .
