CCS is the exclusive source of Factory Authorized Service for J. C. Carter pumps. CCS provides onsite service worldwide, and in-workshop service at Costa Mesa and Avon-mouth, U.K.

Mr. Smith has extensive experience with all types of cryogenic pumps. He has been involved in repair of single stage shipboard pumps, removable pumps, and multistage high pressure pumps built by J. C. Carter, Airco and other major pump manufacturers. Mr. Smith is also providing consulting services for testing LNG power recovery turbines.

Mr. Smith has a MSME ( Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering ) from South Dakota School of Mines & Technology in 1973. He worked 7 years at Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CBI) in the position of LNG Process Systems Design Engineer . The process systems group at CBI specialized in design and construction of LNG and LPG storage and send-out plants . Mr. Smith did process design and plant performance testing in several LNG peak-shaving plants. After leaving CBI, Mr. Smith was employed by J. C. Carter Co . as Field Service Manager for 7 years. For the last 14 years, he has been Chief Engineer at CCS. Mr. Smith is a registered Mechanical Engineer in California, USA .
