Currently, he is the Reliability Engineer of a prestigious Petroleum Refinery working directly with CMMS administration to refine the maintenance routine priorities, solving equipment chronic problems by implementing Root Cause Analysis, optimizing maintenance routine of high critical equipment (system) through the use of Reliability Centred Maintenance, using ' What if Analysis ' to choose the optimum solution for improving the reliability and availability of the system, implementing reliability simulation for different systems by using state-of-the-art simulation software to define best modifications and design, perform RAM (Reliability, Availability & Maintainability study), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance) on different systems that resulted to a comprehensive predictive and proactive maintenance to minimize failure and increase the system's availability and efficiency.

Prior to this, Mr. Farouk had worked as the Project Engineer and Electro-Mechanical Engineer of various prestigious processing, manufacturing and oil & gas companies all over the Middle East carrying out quality control inspection activities.
