Presently, Mr. Tawfik is managing the Offshore Operations Division of Alexandria Petroleum Maintenance Co. wherein he is tasked to set the required regulations and systems to ensure the best performance, direct day-to-day maintenance operation for rotary and stationary equipments, offshore pipelines & risers inspection, maintenance & rehabilitation, supervise the schedule of maintenance and revamp projects of the sector and follow-up of the performance of this schedule, oversee the preparation of investment budget, develop technical skills of staff through local and international training. At the same time, he lectures as a Mechanical Engineering instructor for a prestigious academy for science and technology and maritime transport company. Herein, he imparts his practical knowledge for a wide range of mechanical and offshore disciplines such as Mechanical Maintenance, Operation & Management of Oil & Gas Marine Terminals, Underwater Inspection & Maintenance.

Earlier in his career life, he had been a well respected instructor for Al-Furat Petroleum Company, a Mechanical Engineer handling the Ethylene Offshore Terminal of Petrochemical Co. Herewith, he gained indepth knowledge and experience in the areas of Ethylene Onshore Pipeline Construction, Welding Procedures & Testing, Visual Checking and Material Specification, Maintenance & Repair for Diesel Generator, Pumps MS, Compressor, Air & Ethylene Compressors, Air Conditioning, Inert Gas Unit Centrifuge Separator, Screw Comp. Marine Unloading Arms, Marine-Offshore Crane-Life Boat, Waste Treatment, Heat Exchangers, Tanks & Pipes Installation, Start-Up, Maintenance, Troubleshooting & Analysis.
