Mr. Mahmoud Abouelseoud, MSc, BSc, is a Senior Petroleum Engineer with over 20 years experience in the Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas Industry. His experience includes Artificial Lift Systems, Well Control, Well Completion, and Well Optimization and Operation.

He specializes in ESP, Gas Lift design, problem-identification for both producer & injector wells, Design and On-site offshore supervision for all rig/non-rig operation work such as electric line logging, chemical treatment and water shut-off.

Mr. Mahmoud is currently the Senior Production Engineer (Section Head). At that he is in-charge for the well testing inspection ; well performance evaluation ; oversee drilling, workover and rigless operations ; issuance of invoice programs like PLT, RST, TDT, WSO, Perforation & Stimulation ; coordinating with Reservoir Engineers, field and well services and Production Supervisors for the enhancement of the oil field operations ; and the training of new engineers, among all other responsibilities.

He started his career life with the Gulf of Suez Shell Petroleum Company first as an Engineer, then a First Engineer, and then went on to be a Senior Engineer, and finally he became the Engineering Manager. Under his account he handled on-site offshore supervision for Rig and Rigless operations such as MDT, Perforation, well unloading, PLT, PLSS, WFL, TDT, RST, tubing cleaning, stimulation and scale inhibition jobs ; designing gas lift installation systems using special purpose program; platform surveying and trouble-shooting ; monitor the well performance ( using automation system & well test data ) and evaluate for remedial work (Rig or Rigless workove) such as Re-completion, Water shut-off, Acidizing, Perforation, PLT, WFL, RST, scale or sand cleanout, static and gas lift survey and issue the proper program procedures ; analysis of performed well logging (PLT, PLSS, WFL, TDT, RST, PBU & PFOT); monitoring all shut-in wells for static survey to determine the reservoir pressure for reservoir management ; evaluation of pipeline efficiency and issuance of recommended distribution of the wells on the existing pipe lines to minimize the backpressure and optimize production ; coordinate with infrastructure/special project teams to remove pipeline bottlenecking due to scale problems ; post-appraisal evaluation for performed field jobs (perforation, chemical treatment and water shut-off).
